This page describes how to add a module page to BlackBoard. This module can be used for organizing information and coursework. The difference between a module and a folder is one of style. The module provides a table of contents and each item is presented to the student on a different page.


  • Select the course you wish to add a module to.
  • In the menu on the left, click the location you wish to add a module to.
    • Note: You can only add a Module to content area such as "Information" and "Content."
  • Once in the content area, click Build Content in the upper left corner.
  • Under New Page, select Module Page.
  • Fill in the Name of the module and any additional information.
  • Click Submit.
